Approach
Tree Line Cottage is located just below Hatu peak, the highest peak in the Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh at 3400 m (11,152 ft) above sea level. Narkanda is the closest town to the resort. A three kilometer drive through a thick forest from the town of Narkanda brings you to the closest road head to the resort.
Tree Line Cottage is located at a distance of 65 km from Shimla. It is the gateway to the Apple Valley of Kotgarh and is famous for its powder snow skiing in winter.
